FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE. Greater DC Metro Area. – April 17, 2024 – Amplify the Future Inc. proudly announces its fiscal sponsorship of Black Birders Week 2024. Now in its fifth year, Black Birders Week celebrates the invaluable contributions of Black birders, naturalists, and outdoor enthusiasts to the natural world. From May 26th to June 1st, 2024, participants worldwide will engage in virtual and in-person events under the theme “Wings of Justice: Soaring for Change.”

Black Birders Week 2024 will feature a diverse array of activities, including bird walks, educational content, talks, and community panel discussions. Participants will engage with Black leaders and experts in the birding community, learning about local bird conservation efforts and exploring the intersection of birding, Black communities, Black culture, and environmental justice. As part of this partnership, Amplify the Future Inc. will facilitate tax-deductible donations to support Black Birders Week. These contributions will enable the organizers to expand their initiatives, hold more events, create educational programs, and provide opportunities for Black birders and naturalists to connect with nature and each other.
