It’s time for our semi-annual BIG SIT-A-THON!

Here’s how the event and the pledges work: while the team sit in their 15-20 foot diameter spaces, they will count the bird species seen and heard throughout the entire day!
Birders are committed to these spaces and may only count birds from their BIG SIT area. Each of us on the team will be taking shifts throughout the day and live streaming the event from our BIG SIT-A-THON areas. We will be spread across the country in DC, MD, NJ, AZ, and OR!
Pledge per bird, based on how many birds YOU think we will collectively experience from 6:30 AM – 8:30 PM EST on Saturday, April 17, 2021.
